Chaya Hawaii, known for its refreshing teas and boba drinks, recently opened in Kahala Mall. The name Chaya translates to “tea shop,” and the kiosk is located near SoHa Living. Chaya’s matcha drinks — made with a premium Japanese matcha from Maeda-en — are the most popular items on the menu.
You can also get plantation and traditional milk teas with freshly made boba, along with taiyaki. This iconic, fish-shaped Japanese street food is the perfect snack to enjoy with the teas.
