Easter Seals Hawaii’s “Traveling Plate” culinary tour of the islands reaches Oahu Aug. 2 with a dinner at Herringbone Waikiki.
Chef Gary Tamashiro will serve his Buffalo Octopus, chicken sliders, avocado toast and oysters on the half shell, and set up a bruschetta bar. The dishes will be paired with cocktails by mixologist Dave Power of Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits.
Tickets are $75 or $125 for VIP admission, which includes a meet-and-greet with the chef and additional seafood dishes.
The event runs 6:30 (6 p.m. for VIPs) to 9 p.m. Herringbone is in the International Market Place.
In addition, for the month of August, order the flatbread with Pono Pork and pineapple at dinner or the Everlasting Tropical Mimosa at brunch, and Herringbone will donate a portion of the proceeds to Easter Seals Hawaii.
