Restaurant Suntory is introducing new flavors to its menu in honor of the fall season. Customers can find seasonal specials including the ox tail kamameshi (iron-pot rice) ($29), wagyu chives manju ($24), breaded shrimp and portobello mushroom katsu ($26), and crab cream croquette ($22).
The eatery currently has two kamaaina promotions with specials featuring multiple courses with appetizers and sides included. First, its chef’s special lunch set highlights a 6-ounce cut of washugyu beef, known as tri-tip, that is served with clam soup and two new sauces — kagura nanban miso (miso paste made with kagura nanban, a pepper from Niigata Prefecture) and finadene sauce (a popular tangy soy-sauce based sauce from Guam). Meanwhile, the special teppan dinner course meal consists of an appetizer sampler platter, chowder, salad, scallop, panko shrimp, lobster tail, 5-ounce U.S. fillet, grilled vegetables, garlic rice and dessert. Both specials will be available until Nov. 15.
