Zippy’s is introducing new flavors to its waffle and pancake menu through the end of the year.

First up is your choice of a crisp Belgian waffle or fluffy short stack of pancakes topped with creamy peanut butter sauce to bring out the small kid in all of us. Biting into the crispy waffle is like biting into a Nutter Butter Creme Patty.

It’s a different feeling altogether when the sauce melts into the pancakes, creating the mouthfeel of a rich, voluptuous peanut butter cake.

Whipped cream and a scoop of vanilla ice cream on both items provide the finishing touch, at $8.95 per order.

The peanut butter sauce waffles and pancakes will be available only at Zippy’s dine-in restaurants, through Aug. 31.

September and October’s treat will be a macadamia nut sauce waffle and pancake, followed by pumpkin spice in November and December.
