Regal Cinemas at Dole Cannery is one of the eight Hawaii theaters shuttered by Cineworld. Cineworld said in a news release that the closure was in response “to an increasingly challenging theatrical landscape and sustained key market closures due to the COVID-19 pandemic.” See gallery
The People’s Open Market resumed its regular schedule Saturday, with five rotating locations from Kalihi to Hawaii Kai. The markets are open elsewhere on Oahu on different days and offer ethnic foods and local agriculture and aquaculture products at prices usually lower than at larger retailers. Some sites accept EBT debit cards for those receiving public assistance. See gallery
