Fiscal matters in a conservative environment has no room for “sacred cows”
IRT Cojef, the Pearl Harbor Shipyard are already on the waiver list for hiring. Think about it, we already have some 21 Nuclear Submarines assigned to Pearl Harbor and they do come in for maintenance, repairs, and restocking.
Did the Pearl Harbor people, express too much anger, against POTUS Trump, during the primary & general elections ?
If so, this is what you might call, political retaliation.
Adding more fuel, to a preexisting fire, is not a wise strategy.
Diplomacy is a better course of action, rather than sandpapering POTUS Trump’s rear end.

I like what President Trump is doing by cutting back on federal employees, it’s become too FAT!This is his fiscal responsibility as POTUS!

Shipyard comes under the “military” heading… I don’t think they have any thing to worry about.
“Military needs downsizing” is an inappropriate choice for this poll. We’re talking about work performed by professional civilian ship builders and tradesmen. Not military personnel.

Nitro08. You don’t know what you are talking about. The people that do all the refit and maintanance on sub are GS employees. You would be surprise how many GS employees are in Pearl Harbor, who are all essential, to ensure the Navy Fleet is ready to fight.
Yes, because Pearl Harbor plays a key role in the defense of the nation in the Pacific. That follows President Trump promise to make America strong again and vowed to rebuild the military.
Perhaps we need to rethink our ainokea attitude of voting for only corrupt Democrats up and down the ticket.
