Burger Hale recently introduced a new menu lineup that includes a sukiyaki burger ($8.99 single, $11.99 double), Hawaiian BBQ burger with kalua pork and a crispy cheddar cheese “hula skirt” ($8.99/$11.99), plus options of strawberry, pineapple or mocha shave-ice shakes ($4.99 each).
The additions are the work of award-winning local chefs Michelle Karr-Ueoka and Wade Ueoka of MW Restaurant, who partnered with celebrity chef Michael Mina’s Mina Group to launch the international- themed burger concept at The Street.
Other standouts on the menu include a chicken karaage sandwich ($7.99) on a house-made mochi Portuguese sweet-bread bun with Asian slaw and furikake mayonnaise, a Portuguese sausage hot dog ($5.99) with Volcano Ketchup and a chili cheese dog ($7.99) on a sweet-bread roll.
