Himalayan Kitchen
Full disclosure: I am not any kind of expert on Indian or Nepali food. But I know what I like, and I love Himalayan Kitchen.
Being near the theater makes Himalayan Kitchen a perfect and convenient stop between shows or on the way home. I order Goa Shrimp. Mild. With plain toasted naan. Every time. It is just delicious.
I’m not proud of being so unadventurous. Every visit, I vow to try something new. I open the menu, look it over intently and “Goa Shrimp” comes out of my mouth.
My husband and my co-workers are more daring. Hubby likes all the lamb dishes, and the staff are fans of the Korma Curry (usually with chicken or lamb) and Kathmandu Aloo Paneer Chili. Someday I will try them.
The restaurant also serves beer and wine, completing the dinner experience.
