Stone pot bi bim bap is a healthy, delicious dish at Ohana Inn Restaurant in Waipahu. The fresh vegetables and crispy rice, turned crunchy from the heat of the stone pot, create an awesome combination. Garlic lovers can order this with garlic, too.

Hole-in-the-wall goodness
Ethel’s Grill in Kalihi is known for its tataki sashimi — fresh tuna, lightly seared, served on a bed of bean sprouts and drizzled with sesame oil and garlic soy sauce for $7. Parking is tight, the restaurant is small, but the food is well worth the hassle.
