Friends and family remember Wally Amos Jr.

Friends and family gathered for a celebration of life service held for Wallace “Wally” Amos Jr. at Unity Church of Hawaii on Saturday. Amos was an entrepreneur and educator who was widely known for his Famous Amos cookies and beloved for his work and dedication to childhood literacy. Amos died at home on Aug. 13 after a battle with dementia, at the age of 88 years old.
