Man in critical condition after stabbing in Keeaumoku area

The bus stop along Keeaumoku Street, where a 32-year-old male Walmart employee was stabbed in the chest with a kitchen knife on Saturday evening.

UPDATE: 1:30 p.m. MONDAY

The 32-year-old man who was reportedly stabbed Saturday at a bus stop was a Walmart associate, according to Charles Crowson, senior director of Walmart Global Communications, in an email to the Star-Advertiser.

“Our hearts are with him and his loved ones during this difficult time,” Crowson said in a statement. “We’ll continue working closely with law enforcement through the course of their investigation.”

Honolulu police are investigating.

A 32-year-old man is in critical condition after he was reportedly stabbed in his chest Saturday night near the Ala Moana area.

The man was provided advanced medical care in the 700 block of Keeaumoku Street, according to a Honolulu Emergency Medical Services report. A police bulletin reports the man was stabbed once in the chest with a kitchen knife at 9:55 p.m.

The suspect fled on foot. No arrests have been made.
