Community members remind motorists to drive safe

People gathered on Saturday to sign wave along Farrington Highway in memory of Kaulana Werner who was struck and killed by a drunk driver on April 24, 2016, while walking home from the park in Nanakuli. Werner was 19-years-old.

The sign waving was attended by MADD Hawai'i members, officers from the Honolulu Police Department, community leaders and residents as a reminder to motorists to stop impaired driving. A sobriety check point by HPD followed after.
