2 sent to the hospital after an apparent shooting in Waipahu

Honolulu police have arrested a 32-year-old woman in connection with an apparent shooting in Waipahu that sent two people to the hospital Saturday.

The woman was arrested on suspicion of attemped murder on Pahu Street at the Pearl Harbor Gardens condominiums at around 11:40 p.m. Saturday.

Around 11:23 p.m. Saturday in the Pearl Harbor Gardens neighborhood, a man in his 30s with “central wounds” was in critical condition and another female in her 30s with a “wound to her extremity” was in serious condition, according to Honolulu Emergency Medical Services.

EMS treated both patients with advanced life support and took them to the trauma center for further treatment.

A police report was not immediately available. The Star-Advertiser is withholding the woman’s name because police officers said they could not immediately confirm if the woman had been charged with the crime.
