Lahainaluna High School on Maui has a specialized boarding program that offers agriculture and industrial arts training. Boarders maintain a modern dairy and they milk cows that supply the school cafeteria with milk and cream. The boarders pasteurize the milk with modern equipment, and the Department of Health checks its bacterial content twice a month.
