The Very Rev. Mother Zenaide Lorier, mother general of the Sisters of the Sacred Hearts, is in the islands to take part in the 100th-anniversary celebration of the arrival of the first Catholic sisters in Hawaii. Sacred Hearts sisters arrived in Honolulu in May 1859 from France.
