Pedestrian dies in Likelike collision; town-bound lanes reopen
UPDATE: 9:15 a.m.
Honolulu police have reopened the town-bound lanes of Likelike Highway near the Burmeister Overpass following a crash investigation involving a motorist and pedestrian.
The crash occurred at about 5:30 a.m.
Police said a 28-year-old woman was driving on the highway when she struck a 32-year-old pedestrian.
The pedestrian was on the highway at the time.
She was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police said speed, alcohol and drugs were not factors in the crash.
