52-year-old man in critical condition following a vehicle crash
UPDATE: TUESDAY, 3:35 p.m.
A 52-year-old man was critically injured in a single vehicle crash in the Ala Moana area Monday night.
Honolulu police said a gold 2009 Toyota Corolla was traveling south on Piikoi Street when it crashed into a building at Park Lane Ala Moana at about 9:20 p.m.
The driver was taken in critical condition to a hospital.
Police said speed was not a factor in the crash. It’s unknown at this time whether alcohol and drugs were factors.
