Man, 57, dead, 2 seriously injured in 2-car crash on Kunia Road
UPDATE: 12:35 p.m.
A 57-year-old man was killed and two other people were seriously injured in a two-vehicle collision on Kunia Road this morning, Honolulu police said.
A Toyota truck driven by the 57-year-old man was turning onto Kunia Road from Kunia Drive when he was struck by a Jaguar sedan, police said.
The Toyota driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police said a 51-year-old front seat passenger of the Toyota was taken in serious condition to a hospital.
The 20-year-old Jaguar driver was also taken in serious condition to a hospital.

Police said speed may have been a factor in the crash. It’s unknown at this time whether drugs or alcohol were contributing factors.
This is the 34th traffic-related on Oahu this year compared to 33 at the same time last year.

Honolulu police have reopened Kunia Road in both directions from Anonui Street to the Kunia Post Office.

The collision occurred at about 6:45 a.m.
A man in his 50s was pronounced dead at the scene. Paramedics treated a 20-year-old man and a woman in her 50s. Both were taken in serious condition to a hospital.
Honolulu police have closed a section of Kunia Road in both directions from Anonui Street to the Kunia Post Office as police investigate.
