Man needs CPR after passing out on boat off Hawaii Kai
Just before 10 a.m. this morning, Honolulu Ocean Safety lifeguards responded to a cardiac arrest patient who apparently went unconscious as he was getting back onto a commercial vessel in Maunalua Bay, Honolulu Emergency Medical Services reported.
Cardio pulmonary resuscitation (CPR), already started by Good Samaritans on the boat, was continued by lifeguards who boarded the vessel, along with other medical treatment.
The man was brought to the Maunalua Bay boat ramp.
