About two dozen protesters, including Eileen Sammon, left, gathered in Waikiki on Saturday morning to bring attention to police shootings and other incidents that have taken place recently in Hawaii and around the country, including Wednesday’s fatal shooting of 29-year-old Lindani Myeni during an altercation with Honolulu police officers outside a Nuuanu home. The protesters set up at the intersection of Kalakaua and Kapahulu avenues, where they waved signs as cars and pedestrians passed by.
