Wet ‘n’ Wild Hawaii has announced the promotion of Keanu Santana to director of operations. Santana, who has been with the water park the past seven years, had served as operations manager since 2018.

The U.S. State Department has announced the appointment of five new members to the East-West Center’s Board of Governors. The three-year appointments, made by former Secretary of State Michael R. Pompeo before leaving office, are:

>> Caroline Casagrande, recent deputy assistant secretary of state for academic programs.

>> Kelley E. Currie, recent ambassador-at-large for global women’s issues.

>> Kenneth I. Juster, recent ambassador to India.

>> David R. Stilwell, recent assistant secretary of state for East Asian and Pacific Affairs.

>> Gene Ward, Hawaii state representative.

The new members replace outgoing board members Jeffrey L. Bleich, Kurt M. Campbell, Margaret Carpenter, Jennifer Park Stout and Kirk Wagar.
