Woman escapes police custody while being treated at Queen’s Medical Center

Honolulu police are looking for a woman who had been in police custody on Monday but escaped while being treated at The Queen’s Medical Center.

Police said that while she was being treated at 4:45 p.m. by a physician, Jamille Estrella “managed to escape.”

Police did not say why she was being treated at Queen’s.

Estrella, who has a prior conviction, was wanted on a warrant and is known to frequent the Honolulu area, according to a CrimeStoppers bulletin.

She is wanted for second-degree escape and is described as 38 years old, 5 feet 4 inches, 120 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a black shirt and blue jeans.
