Honolulu police are seeking the public’s help in identifying a male suspect in an armed robbery at the McDonald’s restaurant in Kapolei Marketplace last month.
Police released a surveillance video of the suspect in the Oct. 5 robbery.
Police said an employee was outside of the fast food restaurant at 91-590 Farrington Highway at about 12:30 a.m when the suspect confronted the victim at gunpoint and forced the employee back inside.
The suspect ordered other employees to get on the floor as he took money from a safe and fled, police said.
The suspect is described as a man in his 30s to 40s, between 5 feet 4 inches to 6 feet, and 140 to 200 pounds with a medium build.
He was wearing dark-colored clothing and a face mask and holding a handgun, possibly a revolver, at the time of the robbery.
Anyone with information on the suspect is asked to call police or CrimeStoppers at 955-8300.
