Man, 50, arrested after teen boy fatally shot in Kalihi
Honolulu police arrested a 50-year-old man in connection with a deadly shooting of a teenage boy near Kalihi Valley Homes Thursday night.
Positive identification of the teen is pending.
Police responded to a suspicious circumstances call at about 11 p.m.
Upon arrival, police said responding officers determined the suspect shot multiple times at a group of males.
The circumstances leading up to the shooting were not immediately clear.
One of the males in the group, age 15 or 16, sustained a gunshot wound to the torso.

Emergency Medical Services took the victim to a hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Shortly after 11:15 p.m., police arrested the alleged gunman at or near 2401 Kula Kolea Drive on suspicion of first-degree murder.
Officers posted yellow police tape outside the Kula Kolea Drive property, which abuts Kalihi Valley Homes, as they investigated.
