Treat your furry loved ones to a fun, frolicking time at Kama‘aina K9 Adventures, Hawaii’s first theme park designed especially for dogs. The 2.5-acre outdoor facility on the Kunia mountainside includes six different adventure parks, including a jungle park with pools, miniature city, puppy park, tiny tot park, agility park and petting zoo.
“We would encourage families to visit our facility and consider us for your doggie day care needs as large, safe, dog-friendly areas are so difficult to find on Oahu,” said Maile Fong, owner of Kama‘aina K9 Adventures LLC.
The facility provides dogs space to “sniff, splash, run and explore,” Fong said, in a supervised environment with a staff that includes multiple veterinary technicians and other professionals from the canine care industry.
The mission of Kama‘aina K9 Adventures is to help Hawaii families create and maintain balanced canine companions through socialization, exercise and structure, Fong said.
“Every guest is treated as our own, meaning we do not believe in confinement or kenneling,” she said. “In fact, many of our guests spend over eight hours a day playing freely in our theme parks.”
