First Hawaiian Bank said Monday it will hold a grand reopening for its renovated Hawaii Kai branch in the Koko Marina Center on Saturday. The public is welcome to tour the new features of the branch. The 5,600-square-foot branch, which remained open during renovations, was transformed into an open-floor plan designed with three distinct service areas to address the different needs of individual customers visiting the branch.
There is a self-service welcome area, which features an enclosed glass vestibule providing 24-hour easy access to a “no envelope ATM” and two video teller kiosks for customers seeking self-service options; a convenience area, which includes two new “service pods” to create a more personalized experience for customers wanting quick service with bank staff; and a financial services area, which offers one-to-one personalized customer service with private meeting spaces for customers needing additional privacy when discussing loans, deposits, retirement or financial planning.
“The newly renovated Hawaii Kai branch reflects First Hawaiian’s continuation of our 49-year commitment to this community and to our many loyal customers who have remained with us since we opened this branch in 1969,” First Hawaiian Chairman and CEO Bob Harrison said.
