Walk-in absentee voting for the general election begins Tuesday and runs through Nov. 3. Registered voters are allowed to visit any early walk-in voting location in their county to cast their ballot.
Those who are not registered to vote can do so at any early walk-in voting location in their county or at their assigned polling place on Election Day, Nov. 6. To register you must be a U.S. citizen, a Hawaii resident and at least 18 years old.
Early voting is now more common than precinct voting on Election Day. Nearly 63 percent of the voting in the primary election last summer was by mail-in or walk-in absentee balloting.
