The Battleship Missouri Memorial presents the year’s last Picnic on the Pier event — Aug. 17 at historic Ford Island — which includes complimentary tours of the Mighty Mo’s main decks and music by R&B, rock and reggae artists Simple Souls.
“Attendees will get a unique experience on board America’s last battleship in the hallowed waters of Pearl Harbor,” said Jaclyn Hawse, director of communications and business development at USS Missouri Memorial Association, Inc. “(It’s) a rare opportunity to visit and picnic at the Mighty Mo at sunset, at a discounted price.”
