Fans of the popular “Kingdom Hearts” video games are in for a treat with the “Kingdom Hearts Orchestra — World Tour,” the official concert of the video game series’ music.
The show, Sunday at the Blaisdell Concert Hall, features a giant screen with game footage accompanied by arrangements of the game music performed by a full orchestra.
“Kingdom Hearts,” which was first released in 2002 and has gained millions of fans worldwide, unites the worlds and characters of “Final Fantasy” and Disney.

It follows the adventures of the main protagonist, Sora, who travels with Goofy and Donald Duck as they rescue their friends and the entire world.
Throughout the game, players can meet more than 100 Disney characters — from “Aladdin,” “Beauty and the Beast,” “The Little Mermaid,” “Sleeping Beauty” and more — as well as heroes and villains from the “Final Fantasy” video game franchise.
The “Kingdom Hearts Orchestra — World Tour” is on the road for a second wave of performances and includes stops in Australia, Canada, Brazil, Germany, Italy and Mexico. The concert series was produced under the supervision of game director Tetsuya Nomura, with the music program supervised by original composer Yoko Shimomura.
