Memos name ‘button pusher’ who sent false missile alert in January

U.S. Rep. Colleen Hanabusa called the inadvertent release of the name of the so-called button-pusher who set off the false missile alert that caused a statewide panic a “real snafu,” especially since the heavily redacted information had been reviewed by so many. Above, an electronic sign on the H-1 freeway sought to spread word Jan. 13 that the missile alert was in error.
