Woman found unresponsive in waters off Ala Moana Beach Park
A woman in her 70s was found unresponsive and brought to shore by swimmers at Ala Moana Beach Park at 7 a.m. today.
Paramedics from Emergency Medical Services responded and performed cardiopulmonary resuscitation on the woman and were able to get a pulse back. EMS continued advanced life support treatment and transported her to an area hospital in critical condition.
The incident occurred before Honolulu Ocean Safety lifeguards were on duty.
