Uber presses Oahu customers and drivers to reject Council bill

Ride-hailing service Uber sent emails to customers and employees Monday pressing them to submit testimony to the Honolulu City Council opposing a bill that would place more restrictions on the company, such as a cap on how much drivers can charge during peak hours. Uber independent contract driver Cara Sadira uses her smartphone prior to starting her vehicle she uses to drive for Uber in Kakaako.
