The city announced Wednesday it began selling special license plate decals to honor “Hawaii Says NO MORE Week” in support of a national public awareness campaign to end domestic violence and sexual assault.

The “Hawaii Says NO MORE” license plate decal, available at satellite City Hall locations across Oahu, are available for $30.50 for the first year, and $25 for following years, in addition to the annual motor vehicle registration fees. Of every special license plate sold, $20 will be donated to the Windward Spouse Abuse Shelter.

“The theme this year for Hawaii Says NO MORE is ‘We’re louder together,’ and these decals are a part of that powerful message,” said Mayor Kirk Caldwell in a news release. “All of us can be a part of the solution to end domestic violence and sexual assault by making it known exactly where we stand, and by placing these decals on our license plates, we are doing exactly that.”

Caldwell proclaimed this week “Hawaii Says NO MORE Week” at a ceremony held on Monday, and Honolulu Hale is being illuminated in blue to commemorate it. Applications and information on the license plate decals are available at this link.
