Robbery victim holds suspect until police arrive
Police arrested a 33-year-old man after he allegedly threatened a vehicle owner in Honolulu.
At about 8:05 a.m. Tuesday, police said the vehicle owner, 25, found the older man in his parked vehicle. When he confronted the suspect, the suspect allegedly brandished an undisclosed dangerous instrument and threatened him, police said.
The victim detained the suspect until police arrived. Police arrested the older man on suspicion of first-degree robbery at 8:30 a.m.
He was released pending further investigation.
