To say that we at Diamond Head Theatre go to Diamond Head Market & Grill often, is kind of an understatement.
I myself am at the grill two to three times a week for lunch; others on the staff go for breakfast (the famous scones!); others go into the market for a dinner meal-to-go (artistic director John Rampage is partial to the beef stroganoff).
Sure, it’s nearby and obviously convenient, but the secret to its popularity with us is that it is good. And healthy. OK, maybe the scones have a few calories, but I believe that my entrees sans rice (I order all salad) have kept me reasonably fit for more than 10 years.
I like feeling good about what I eat, and Diamond Head Market & Grill delivers on that. Of course, when owner Kelvin Ro makes his seasonal treat, mango cheesecake squares, calorie counting is officially suspended!
