‘Aggressive’ shark leads to warning signs at Makaha Beach
Warning signs were posted at Mahaka Beach this afternoon due to the sighting of an aggressive, five-foot shark about 200 yards offshore.
The sighting was confirmed by public safety officials, according to the Honolulu Ocean Safety Division. Lifeguards posted warning signs and are advising the public to stay out of the water. The warning went into effect at 2:40 p.m. and is in effect until 6:40 p.m.
