Multiple injuries after car crashes into Koko Marina restaurant
Multiple people were injured this afternoon after a car crashed into a restaurant at Koko Marina Center in Hawaii Kai.
Honolulu Fire Department Capt. David Jenkins said an elderly woman drove a car into a plate glass window at Paina Cafe at about 4 p.m.
About 10 firefighters responded and about six people were evaluated for injuries, Jenkins said. About three were transported to a hospital for treatment.
The driver was not injured.
Jenkins said firefighters checked the building for structural damage and found it still sound.
