Video released of suspect in Stadium Mall armed robbery
Police have released surveillance camera videos of a male suspect who allegedly robbed a fast food restaurant at Stadium Mall.
At 10:30 p.m. on June 27, police said a male wearing a hoodie approached the drive-thru window at Jack in the Box on a moped and purchased food. The following morning, at about 2:45 a.m., a male clad in a hoodie — similar to the one worn by the moped rider — and a face mask approached the drive-thru window and brandished a rifle.
It’s unclear whether the rifle was real or a replica because as he attempted to smash the cash register open, part of the rifle broke and the suspect left.
Police said the suspect returned shortly after and demanded money from the employee. She opened the cash register and he fled with an undisclosed amount of cash.
