The Honolulu Medical Examiner’s Office on Monday identified one of the two men killed in the May 16 Kunia Road crash as Andrew Ander, 32, of Hawaii.
Ander died of head injuries due to the motor vehicle crash, said the Medical Examiner’s Office, which could offer no specific area of where he lived in Hawaii.
He and another man in his 30s were found dead hours after the crash occurred off Kunia Road. The bodies were located at about 9 a.m. May 16, a few feet away from the mangled Honda sedan in which they were riding.
Police said the driver was speeding when he lost control and hit a guardrail and a tree before overturning into the brush.
