Attempted murder inquiry opened after man attacked with machete
Police opened an attempted murder investigation Saturday after a 25-year-old man said he was attacked by three unknown males and slashed multiple times with a machete in downtown.
The victim told police the three males assaulted him at about 8:50 p.m. Saturday. During the attack, one of the males pulled out a machete and began slashing him along his entire body, causing numerous injuries, police said.
