Man seriously injured in assault in Ala Moana area; suspect arrested
Police arrested a man on suspicion of attempted murder after he allegedly assaulted another man in the Ala Moana area.
At about 12:30 a.m. on Mar. 18, police said the suspect assaulted a 43-year-old man, causing serious injuries.
During an investigation, the suspect was identified and arrested on suspicion of attempted second-degree murder at 2 a.m. today at the Central Receiving Division at the Honolulu Police Department’s Alapai headquarters following his arrest for an unrelated assault offense.
