Trump rallies supporters, tears into ‘dishonest media’
MELBOURNE, Fla. >> Just four weeks into his administration, President Donald Trump held a campaign rally in Florida on Saturday, repeating his political promises and continuing his attacks on the “dishonest media.”
“I want to be among my friends and among the people,” Trump told a cheering crowd packed into an airport hangar, praising his “truly great movement.”
Insisting he was the victim of false reporting, Trump said his White House was running “so smoothly” and that he “inherited one big mess.” The president has been trying refocus after reports of disarray and dysfunction within his administration.
Speaking to reporters on Air Force One before the rally, Trump said he was holding a campaign rally because “Life is a campaign.”
“To make America great again is absolutely a campaign,” he said. “It’s not easy, especially when we’re also fighting the press.”
The rally came during Trump’s third straight weekend at his private south Florida club, Mar-a-Lago. It was another working weekend for the president, who planned to interview at least four potential candidates for the job of national security adviser, a position unexpectedly open after retired Gen. Michael Flynn’s firing early this week.

Trump said Saturday “I have many, many that want the job, they want to really be a part of it. I’ll make a decision over the next couple of days.”
Scheduled to discuss the job with the president were his acting adviser, retired Army Lt. Gen. Keith Kellogg; John Bolton, a former U.S. ambassador to the United Nations; Army Lt. Gen. H.R. McMaster; and the superintendent of the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, Lt. Gen. Robert Caslen. White House spokesman Sean Spicer said the four interviews were expected to take place Sunday at the private estate.
Finding a new national security adviser was proving to be a challenge for Trump. His first choice, retired Vice Adm. Robert Harward, turned down the offer.
Trump had also expressed interest in former CIA Director David Petraeus, but Spicer said Saturday that Petraeus was not a finalist. The retired four-star general resigned as CIA director in 2012 and pleaded guilty to one misdemeanor charge of mishandling classified information relating to documents he had provided to his biographer, with whom he was having an affair.
Flynn resigned at Trump’s request Monday after revelations that he misled Vice President Mike Pence about discussing sanctions with Russia’s ambassador to the U.S. during the transition. Trump said in a news conference Thursday that he was disappointed by how Flynn had treated Pence, but did not believe Flynn had done anything wrong by having the conversations.
Trump has lurched from crisis to crisis since the inauguration, including the botched rollout of his immigration order, struggles confirming his Cabinet picks and a near-constant stream of reports about strife within his administration.
Trump criticized the news media during a marathon news conference on Thursday and continued his rants Saturday, tweeting: “Don’t believe the main stream (fake news) media. The White House is running VERY WELL. I inherited a MESS and am in the process of fixing it.”

What a biased, unprofessional, so called news report.
“Trump also continued his rants against the news media”
“Rant” is a sarcastic juvenile jnference, not an observation. The statement is also disrespectful. A real news reporter might have written:
“President Trump continued his criticisms of the press”.
“Trump has lurched from one problem to the next, including the botched rollout of his immigration order, struggles confirming his Cabinet picks and a near-constant stream of reports about strife within his administration.”
I am not sure that there is any way to repair this kind of lying.
A real reporter would have identified the “stream of reports”, assuming this was not being made up by the reporter himself, to find out if they are real or simply fake news.
The “struggles” with cabinet picks are par for the course, and from what I read, not that different from Presidents Obama and Bush. A real reporter would have researched this.
As for “lurching” from one problem to the next, what kind of nonsense is this? It is almost as though the whole idea of actually solving problems is so strange to the reporter that he likens it to the behavior of a drunk.
Well said Cricket_Amos
Not since my hero Spiro (Agnew) have the “news” media been so rocked back on their arrogant heels.
We have a ringside seat at a no holds barred, unlimited round slugfest between that rarest of the rare – – a Republican who is not afraid to wade into a scrap – – and the self proclaimed ‘fourth estate’.
Thank heaven PRESIDENT Trump has picked ALL the right enemies.
Sic em, Don.
NO PRISONERS!
Remind me please, What happened to your hero Spiro?
Is this your prediction for the Donald? lol
Fake Crooked Corrupt Lying President trying to distract, distort and coverup all the deceptions and and Chas in the White House and all those around him

Rex is doing a great job. Perfect person for the job.
He’s doing what he thinks is needed to stop his collapsing approval rating – now at 38%. Numbers that low erode support in Congress, and he’s already thrown the Judiciary under the bus. His administration is a flailing, failed hot mess.
Trump is profoundly mentally ill. No President talks every single day, in every single meeting, about fabricated electoral college numbers. He repeated his ongoing lie yesterday about his EC vote count being larger than GHW Bush and Obama. He’s sick.
This will end badly for the United States.
Glad you’ve got a positive attitude.
The man is only trying to deliver on his promises to the country which is more than I can say for every President before him.
Lord knows he’s doing it in a unorthodox fashion which many Americans like.
Yes, he does not have the diplomacy that Obama may have had, but, he has got the desire to make these changes like no other President before him.
Give the guy a chance, to complete his cabinet, learn a few lessons of how to talk and let’s make the appropriate critique once he’s actually been in the job for a few months.
He had his chance and he already blew it. The Muslim ban and the spectacularly unfit, juvenile way it was rolled out, proved to me that Trump can’t govern. He doesn’t read or learn, so that won’t improve. He is hiring people for their loyalty to him and how much of a sycophant they are – not for competence or governance knowledge.
For an ACLU (volunteer) attorney like me, the fight is on. Trump’s remarkable malfeasance has raised almost five years worth of ACLU funding just since the Muslim ban was signed. The fight is on, and it’s the most fun I’ve had in 20 years! I ran into old law school friends working an overnight shift at Dulles Airport getting green card holders out of jail, and we all had a blast throwing sand in Trump’s gears. He’s a psychotic, which is making things awfully easy for us.
I wonder if your recent statements may turn out to be as accurate as your predictions for the outcome of the election.
The absolute certainty with which you made those predictions is similar to what is being observed here.
PS
For those who did not follow or have forgotten:
M. Klastri’s predictions for the election were spectacularly incorrect.
Klastri> You are an ACLU attorney, huh? That explains a lot about you now. But you haven’t proven that you’re qualified to make that diagnosis that POTUS is a psychotic! You’re still VFN and prejudiced to the max. No wonder there’s no more room for the taxis, you and your other ambuilance chasers are taking up all the space. What’s your cut to get rid of the POTUS?
Cricket_Amos – And you, sadly, believe that predicting an election requires the same skill set as practicing law.
Good grief, could you possibly be any more clueless?
I admit that I guessed wrong. I badly underestimated the number of bigots, racists and white supremacists who would vote for a totally unfit and insane candidate. The only comfort I have (besides fighting Mr. Trump in court, which is a lot of fun) is that Mrs. Clinton received 3 million more votes than Mr. Trump. Which is driving him more crazy every day.
NP5491 – Your comment shows your breathtaking ignorance regarding the practice of law. No shock there!
ACLU volunteer attorneys are professionals who love the rule of law and the Constitution more than they love a President. The President and his agenda do not matter. The rule of law does.
klastri> You take my breath away. Sorry, but it seems that you are the clueless one. Elections aren’t won by popular vote, if you already didn’t know. I didn’t know that you’re an extremely prejudiced person, calling those that voted for POTUS all those names, You’re good at that and keep up your VFN and continual unsupported lies that POTUS is mentally ill and psychotic. The only ignorance that I detect is your inability to correctly interpret and read what the constitution says. A typical ploy used to twist and turn the law till it’s no longer what it is. Deception to the max. Grandstanding to challenge the POTUS, instead of helping the situation to keep America safe from potential influx of ISIS terrorists. I’m glad you’re having fun raising $$$$$. Since that’s what it’s all about anyway. Ignorance is bliss, so I’m told.
Re Klastri
“This will end badly for the United States”
Sounds like a prediction to me.
Klastri
It is not so much whether it is a prediction that is the point.
It is your absolute certainty which is troubling, and possibly indicative of a problem.
Time will tell Cricket. I have my doubts that the Donald will survive the year, if his STD diesn’t do him in, the CIA might. Impossible you say? Ever heard of John Kennedy? Then there is the possibility of impeachment. remember Nixon?
The absolutel certaintly that we have a president who started out with a low approval rating and it is only betting worse. The person is a clown and sadly reflects badly on all Americans. I am constantly being asked why we elected such a clown.
Klastri, I also guessed wrong. No way there could be so many fools who would go to the town’s butcher for brain surgery. I suspect it will be the Trump supporters, like Sarge, who will be among the first to feel his cuts. He has to take money from somewhere so where else than vet benefits? Time will tell if I am right Sarge. lol
That explains a lot.
The whining losers led by klastri the lying ACLFU lawyer still haven’t had enough. The game is over and just like the Olympics come back in Four years and try harder. Trump-10 Media-0
Both of you have had too many golf balls hit you in the head…
False Fake Phony Corrupt, Liar Insane President, Coverup in Chief of the US
When is your sixth grade graduation party? Hope you passed this time.
The president is a liar who is governed by conflicts of interest. I may change my mind if he lives up to his promise and release his tax returns which will show potential loans from Russia along with investment in Exxon. Smells like corruption to the max to me. Oh I forgot, its ok if you are republican. Disgusting.
“release his tax returns which will show potential loans from Russia”
I never heard of a tax return declaring a “potential loan” and am not sure what it is.
How do you happen to have this information?
Cricket, if you file 1040ez form every year then you don’t know nada about tax returns. Hey,just release your taxes dongal.
Oh Nana
I wish it was that easy, I wish all I had to do was file a 1040ez each year.
It would save me so much time and money.
By reading sources other than Fox news. for exaple: http://news.groopspeak.com/breaking-trump-receiving-money-from-russia/
After multiple bankruptcies and failed business ventures, Trump can’t receive loans from major American banks. And despite a touted net worth in the billions, Trump’s debt increased 80 percent to $630 million in just the last year, Bloomberg recently reported. He lost of a quarter of his cash assets, too.
That leaves only a handful of investors that Trump’s relied on, and for about 30 years, The Washington Post says. And those investors are dominantly from one country, as Trump’s son once admitted at a real estate conference:
“Russians make up a pretty disproportionate cross-section of a lot of our assets. We see a lot of money pouring in from Russia.”
Or the money may just be from Russian crooks.
I looked around a bit and found what looks like a pretty good article in the WSJ
https://www.wsj.com/articles/trump-debts-are-widely-held-on-wall-street-creating-new-potential-conflicts-1483637414
It contains the quote:
Deutsche Bank, which is under investigation by the U.S. Justice Department over its equity trades for wealthy clients in Russia, is the single biggest lender to properties controlled by Mr. Trump.
This the closest I could find to a Russian connection.
Also it seems he has a lot of US debt, as per
The debts of President-elect Donald Trump and his businesses are scattered across Wall Street banks, mutual funds and other financial institutions, broadening the tangle of interests that pose potential conflicts for the incoming president’s administration.
Hundreds of millions of dollars of debt attached to Mr. Trump’s properties, some of them backed by Mr. Trump’s personal guarantee, were packaged into securities and sold to investors over the past five years, according to a Wall Street Journal analysis of legal and property documents.
He is the POTUS and not the apprentice. No need to give him time. Time to give him the axe.
Everytime Trump opens his mouth or tweets, it’s like watching a him having a mental breakdown. His whole administrTion, the Republicans, his supporters are also in denial, and also having to lie, dissemble, and coverup for him, mass insanity
We must be watching different things.
I thought he did pretty well in his last press conference.
No sight of mental breakdown etc as far as I could see.
He seemed pretty much at ease and in control of the situation.
Cricket you as well, having a mental breakdown, and in denial of the obvious
Just recently read that he may be suffering from long term STD exposure, Don’t know how true it is but the article made it sound plausible.
Bottom line is that as he is bound in a straight jacket strapped onto a gurney, he will be mumbling, stuttering, same gibberish he’s been trying to convince what’s left of his KKK faithful, that the lying press finally nailed him, but good. Off to the lulu pen for him.
Bound and directed by the Putin and the Russian FSB to do their bidding.
Googled around a bit and found the same argument for Hillary Clinton
“One cause of meningitis is syphilitic aseptic meningitis aka syphilis. This diagnosis can match just about every symptom exhibited by Secretary Clinton”
https://steemit.com/news/@aggroed/medical-conjecture-secretary-clinton-likely-suffers-from-late-stage-syphilis
It is a dangerous world out there.
That’s what happens when you shake hands with the Donald once too often; yeah, syphilis is very contageous.
I think it takes a little more than a handshake.
GROSS!
We all know of the Donalds past history which involved more than “hand shakes.”
You surely can act naive when it’s necessary.
By deploying nuclear-armed cruise missiles aimed at Europe, Russia has violated the 1987 Intermediate-Range Nuclear Forces and presented the US with a major strategic challenge, but Trump has said nothing. Nothing. Putin got the stooge he wanted in the White House, and it’s turning out better for Russia than Putin could possibly have hoped. Trump has also denounced the New START agreement. By his praise of Putin, his silence when Russia takes dangerous military steps that would have drawn a strong reaction from any other President, his attacks on the press for exposing his campaign’s ties to Russia, and his denigrating of NATO and the EU, Trump has acted in a manner consistent with being a Russian agent.
The National Security Council is in dangerous disarray. General Harward, after his choice was unofficially announced by the White House, bailed out, reportedly because he objected to Trump’s reorganization of the NSC (reportedly, the last straw for Harward was watching Trump’s press deranged press conference) and having to accept KT McFarland as a deputy. It was reported that Trump was furious at Steve Bannon after he signed the Executive Order that reorganized the NSC and placed Bannon on the principals committee. Until Bannon, there has never been a political advisor on the NSC. The State Department, the intelligence service and the NSC are in a very dangerous state of Trump-induced disfunction, and Trump has fled, for the third time in his month-old Presidency, to his winter palace.
“reportedly because he objected to Trump’s reorganization of the NSC”
This is not what Harward himself said.
It is possible to make up this “reportedly” stuff all day long.
It looks like fake news, possibly even very fake news.
bsdetection is correct. Admiral Harward asked to choose his own staff and Mr. Bannon said no.
The same reason that General Petraeus said no.
Of course, he didn’t say that publicly. Do you really believe the stated reason — that he wanted to spend more time with his family? Had he forgotten that he had a family the day before, when the White House floated his name? Jake Tapper quoted one of Harward’s friends as saying that Harward told him the job was a “s__t sandwich.” As a retired general, Harward knows a lot more than Trump about organizational structure and it was clearly unacceptable to him that Trump insisted that Harward’s deputy would be a former Fox News talking head. Trump has a pattern of breaking down organizational structure by choosing incompetent people to fill important secondary roles. No competent person will accept the NSC position knowing that their “subordinates,” Bannon and McFarland, will be reporting directly to Trump.
The utter disarray of the White House may be news that you don’t like, but that doesn’t make it fake news.
“Of course, he didn’t say that publicly”
The I can’t help wondering how you would know this, and be able to make this statement without support.
General Harwood said he did not want to be National Security Adviser because it was a”S–t Sandwich”. He did not want to be stuck between Trump and Bannon, and have to do their dirty work.
dirty work committee: pence, priebus, spicer, conway
Cricket, did you have a lobotomy which prevents you from distinguishing fact from fiction?
Nope, no lobotomy. Not even shock treatment.
Actually, I was trying to distinguish fact from inference, which is very different from fiction, and a more common problem.
For example, suppose that you read that “Jake Tapper said that “a friend” of Harward said that …..”
Factual evidence would be if Harward admits he said it, in person, and publicly.
One step up the inference tree would be the identity of the friend plus a public admission from the friend that he heard Harward say it.
By the time we get to Jake with his anonymous source, we are two or three steps up the inference tree, and it is not a statement of fact anymore.
Anyway, that’s the way I see it.
Give it up, Crickety; I’ll put in a word for you to Trump to find you a place in his Trump White Castle, with a medal citing you as an honorable soldier of Mother Russia.
McTruck
I think if you carefully read what I have said it may be instructive.
If you have an objection, a substantial remark with substance, I would genuinely like to hear it.
If you replied, then you got the message.
cricket_Amos> Go get ’em!!!! Don’t worry about them trying to gang up on you. You are doing just fine, charge ’em!!!! They re all VFNers anyway. Lip service to the max. Cannot believe we have people in America like them. Very Unamerican, distortionist, purveyors of vile and unverified false facts. Give “em!!!
He’s becoming the joke of the day. He needs to get working and quit mouthing off.
Trump realized as soon as he took office that campaigning is easy, actually governing is hard. If he had his way, he would just leave the governing to his cabinet and just concentrate on making hate speeches to his base of uneducated white folk. With any public service position, you need to make a lot of sacrifices to be successful in that position, and so far Trump doesn’t seem to be willing to make the pivot in order to turn off his campaigning switch.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mgz-Vu6JlAg
“his base of uneducated white folk
Whoa, seems a little bigoted to me
Also kind of ignorant
In fact, many studies and polls have shown that Trump’s base is older whites without a college education. Do you recall which Presidential candidate said, “I love the poorly educated”? Pew Research reported that “In the 2016 election, a wide gap in presidential preferences emerged between those with and without a college degree. College graduates backed Clinton by a 9-point margin (52%-43%), while those without a college degree backed Trump 52%-44%. This is by far the widest gap in support among college graduates and non-college graduates in exit polls dating back to 1980. For example, in 2012, there was hardly any difference between the two groups: College graduates backed Obama over Romney by 50%-48%, and those without a college degree also supported Obama 51%-47%.”
In September, Breitbart reported that “An ABC News/Washington Post poll finds Donald Trump crushes Hillary Clinton among white men without college degrees 76 percent to 17 percent—a 59-point lead.”
I guess in part it depends on what you mean by his “base.”
If you mean the people that made it happen, they were not uneducated.
In any case, as far as being college educated goes, I would probably trust the judgement of a carpenter with a high school education before I would trust many of your typical social sciences majors.
There is something about people who have to live in reality that is a more reliable base than those who live in the educated windmills of their minds.
So true bs.
A little bigoted, Trump’s whole ,ampaign was built on bigotry, racism, misogyny, sexism, homophobia, Islamophobia, xenophobia.
Wow and he still kicked the crap out of the crooked lyin losers. Good job Mr Trump. Keep up the good work.
bsdetection> It sort of puzzles me that you are unable to detect your own written BS. Your posts may not reflect the necessary BS detection screening on your own posts, but you sure can BS detect with other peoples posts. Cannot consider you as being a reliable or truthful source of facts from hereon.
Yea, krusha, I’ve been acknowledging for the past year that Trump is a successful salesman. But you should NEVER give your best salesmen a managerial position. They suck at it; they don’t have the attention span to juggle all the thoughts that go into running a company. During the campaign, you could see him working the (undereducated) crowd with sloganism and his “refreshingly” unpolished speaking manner. But now that he is POTUS, reality slaps him in the face daily. He’s not used to dealing with the reality of running an organization.
He would have been better off supporting his favorite Republican candidate other than himself. He could say all the politically incorrect things he’s said and might look a little bad, but he never cares about that anyway. And the candidate would enjoy the benefits of Trump’s mudslinging at the opponent, without the candidate getting mud on himself.
But because he’s a narcissist who thinks he knows more than anyone else (even the generals), and he has too big an ego to be someone else’s helper, he ran for president himself—and somehow won (with the help of the Russians and fake news).
Unfortunately, we now have to deal with this reality.
Um, you won Drumpf. Get your @$$ back to work.
It’s President Day weekend and the capitol and WH will be “empty” of a potus. Actually America has an empty suit. This guy and his family will surpass ALL presidents on taxpayers $$$ for protection, security, family security, EVERYWEEKEND. Then he will bill America for Margo Lago,Trump Towers and all the events, using the business expense tax exempt theory. He has done absolutely nothing but tapped a great story. BIG FAIL.
How much is it costing the taxpayers for each weekend trip to Florida?
Each of his three trips this month to Mar-A-Lago cost us $3 million, according to the Government Accounting Office. His travel, his kids’ travel, and the Trump Tower detail in the first month of office will cost about $40 million. New York City alone is spending just over $500,000 per day on securing Mrs. Trump and Barron, and that will be reimbursed by the U.S. taxpayer.
That’s $40 million for one month. In eight years, it the travel costs for the Obamas was $97 million. Trump will exceed that by the end of April 2017.
Trump is a psychotic.
As you said, trump’s kids travels are also costing us because of the secret service coverage. Since they are constantly traveling for their (trump’s) business, we are on the hook for A LOT!!!
Thanks for contributing for the protection required our new President. With all the nut cases as evidenced on this message board running around,it is well worth the money. Good to see klastri pays his taxes to make this possible.
Sarge22> I don’t think Klastri pays any taxes to the govt because he/she is an ACLU volunteer attorney. Doesn’t seem like a real job that gives a W-2 for services rendered. Lose money. Don’t be banking on getting any help from the “LAWYER.”
Sarge22> I don’t think Klastri pays any taxes to the govt because he/she is an ACLU volunteer attorney. Doesn’t seem like a real job that gives a W-2 for services rendered. Lose money. Don’t be banking on getting any help from the “LAWYER.”
Wow! Slippery trigger finger. Did not mean to send post twice.
General Flynn’s replacement should be none other than John Bolton! Hands Down! And what is this? General Patreus as one of the contenders?OMG ! I like him a whole lot! BUT bradah’s got some BAGGAGE! Caution ,keep clear POTUS!
I like the way Trump continues with his “Hallmark” Rally connecting with his voter base and meets with them occasionally like the “Thank You Tour”,this is a Good thing! He appreciates his voters and stands with them. It will also gain momentum for him to Rally in the same states which those select Democrats who opposed him, will possibly lose their seats. Trump has won “Big League” in those states and could make the Democrats (further) irrelevant in congress. Good for the Republicans…..Bad for the Democrats! Ultimately The Democrats are shooting themselves in the feet! With all this “Sillyness”!
This could prove dire for many democrats who use this , Oppose, Stall and Obstruct tactics. It’s totally Grade school stuff!
Trump’s other attributes are keeping the Media in check.During the WH press,he hammered the MSM media , most of them didn’t have clue how to react, they were literally flabbergasted! He continues exposing the Dishonest media for what they truly are ,who no one else can blame ,but…..themselves….. But they still keep trying. lol!
Oh! Btw. Check out Klastri’ Fake Poll Approval numbers. Cripes! This guy is unrelentless can someone please save him from all this insanity? He’s not adjusting well. Haaaaaaaaaaaaaa! IMUA!! President Trump.
MoiLee> ^5 to you! Excellent post and totally accurate. Not like what all the naysayers are trying to overload us with. The truth is the truth no matter how you try to twist and turn it.. Too much lies and unsubstantiated comments being made by the lefties.
Pence is at NATO explaining why King Louie first said NATO was useless while on the campaign trail. Now he has orders to say what a “wonderful” thing NATO is. PENCE is even more worried that Louie,Prebus and Bannon are picking another Natonal Security Advisor behind his back. Wow. Pence is the only politician of the bunch! Is there another billionaire they can tap? Hmmm. Poor Pence has been delegated as the WH lap dog. Because rich people don’t have dogs. Bet you Inanka is doing the Easter WH egg roll this year. This is so bizarre.

I was just pulling your leg; I like reading your comments. Peace.
Gallup: WASHINGTON, D.C. — President Donald Trump’s 40% job approval rating about one month into his presidency is 21 percentage points below the historical average rating for elected presidents in mid-February (61%). It is also 11 points below the lowest mid-February reading for any other president.
Poor Donald, just a poor misunderstood rich boy. The Donald should not be criticized just because he wants to protect his investment in Exxon which stands to make tons of money in Russia once sanctions are lifted.
Trump is also beholden to the oil and gas industries in this country, ow that he has lifted all the regulations and obstacles to the Keystone XL Pipeline, the Dakota Access Pipeline, and environmental regulations on the fossil fuel industry. Tons of money going to Trump and his Wall Street friends, fossil fuel friends, and Republican friends on the Hill, at the expense of the lower 90%, people’say health, the air, the water, the environment and the planet
don’t forget the coal industry which he claimed at the Florida Rally he was going to put the miners back to work. Forget protecting the environment, he won’t be around by then. Forget whomever is left in the world after he’s gone. Pure Trump.
It’s costing us $40 million a month? Is this fact or fiction? A year is $480,000,000?
Fact. The estimate for him, Mrs. Trump and his kids is $500 Million.
New York City
Rent in Trump Tower (which Trump is charging) for the DoD and Secret Service
Bedminster, NJ
Mar-A-Lago, including constant ocean patrols
Accompanying his adult children everywhere they go, as they enrich themselves from their father’s office
Take Tuesday off also, then it will be only 3 days until next weekend.
I’m seeing a lot of hatred, bigotry and intolerance for opposing viewpoints from the usual progressive suspects on the online discussion today. Not to mention any names but their initials are klastri, bsdetection and boots to name a few. One in particular posts verbiage that borders on sedition. I know the person well knows the definition of sedition because he/she is a highly trained attorney as he/she endlessly reminds us. And all these years I thought progressivism/liberalism was defined by tolerance and love of fellow man. Instead they are hateful and perpetually angry children. No matter though Trump is playing them like a fiddl. Also I strongly agree with MoiLee regarding John Bolton for Nat. Sec. Adviser.
Look on the bright side, CEI.
These munchkins are – – albeit inadvertently – – providing NORMAL people an unending source of slap stick amusement.
Not since FDR have we had a POTUS who so much enjoys campaigning and the sting of battle.
PRESIDENT Trump is driving hapless saps like Klastri abso stinkin lutely bonkers. Then again, it is more of a short putt than an actual drive.
Hey cei moi, you forgot me. Do you think Trump Inc.is charging the U.S.government for 1 whole floor in Manhattan Trump Towers? Just have Missing Melania report back to Washington DC and do the First Lady stuff. This whole thing is bizzare.
A thousand pardons boss man, I didn’t mean to diminish your contributions to the loony left group-think crowd. As far as I’m concerned Mrs. Trump is a classy and beautiful woman. In sharp contrast to Waldo who was the wicked witch of the west as first lady. Thank Christ she lost the election.
CEI – You are lying, of course.
Learn something today.
Yes definitely, “false” mutterings from Trump worshipers.
Trump is far more interested in campaigning than governing. He has no idea what to do when everyone is not just saying “yes” to him. This is why he returns to these rallies so he’s surrounded by those who adore him no matter what ridiculous, asinine things he does. So pathetic and childish!
You’re looking at the wrong way. The rallies are designed to go around the progressive group-think media. You know, the media (CNN) who gave Waldo Clinton questions before a town hall.
There was an email to the Clinton campaign that mentioned that there would be a question about lead in the water at a debate held in Flint, Michigan. Wasn’t that just stating the obvious? Do you really think that it hadn’t occurred to anyone in the Clinton camp that the subject of lead in the water might come up in Flin?t
The day before the first GOP debate, Trump angrily called Fox News executives to complain because he thought one of the questions was aimed at him personally. How did Trump see an advance list of questions that would be asked at the Fox-hosted debate?
You know nothing. blah blah blah Give it a rest. Trump is doing great
Yeah, doing a great job pre-campaigning four years in advance, using American’s tax dollars.
IRT skinut: Yes, it was a redux of all his campaign promises. It was like Groundhog Day. OK, I’ll cut Trump some slack for needing this ego-boosting rally. He got hammered in Round 1, and needed to get back in his corner and have his cut man treat the wounds. I’ll admit he’s good at campaigning; now he should add governing to his to-do list.
My best line of the rally: “I will never let the media get away with (lies).” Well, sir, it works both ways. I am grateful for a press that won’t allow Trump to keep spewing “fake facts” like spittle.
Five Words; Pot Calling the Kettle Black. End story.
Didn’t watch the rally however he probably will talk about the same things that he told his supporters
before he became president. Nothing new.
ditto
same mo, same method of operation. he wants to be in a controlled environment, where he can spread his propaganda and be praised and cheered without being fact checked. his egotistical ego needs to be fed. he tends to overly exaggerate and become lies (which is fake news), then the media corrects him and which he cannot admit he was wrong. he should have been the secretary of business and let pence handle the rest.
I really can’t wait to hear the first speech for Donald’s 2020 campaign – he will be railing against the Washington elite, self-serving pay-to-play politicians, Goldman Sachs, security breaches and a completely ineffectual current administration. Will he reprise his “drain the swamp” refrain? Oh, wait…
and he appoints people who were the subject of the financial and EPA regulations that got the markets in trouble. I guess if you can make the rules, you win.
He has to “tip-toe” around Goldman Sachs because they have the financial strength to put him out of business. Walk softly as they say and don’t cause any waves.
Don’t blame Trump for going directly to the people who voted for him. Actually when you step back and think about it, that’s pretty cool. But the media portrays it differently. BTW, a little reported fact: “Democrats who used to work on Capitol Hill are helping to disrupt Republican lawmakers’ town hall meetings across the country through a nationwide effort to oppose and “resist” President Donald Trump’s agenda. They call their group Indivisible Guide, a name that came from an actual guide posted online telling activists how to pressure members of Congress. Among topics: what to say when going to town halls and calling or visiting a member’s office.” This is really sad since this effort will further divide our country.
Does Petraeus need permission from his parole officer to go to Florida for the interview?
Your parole officer is looking for you. He can’t seem to find the rock you are hiding under. The harder the fight the sweeter the win. Trump is rocking. Whiners beware.
Gallup: “President Donald Trump’s 40% job approval rating about one month into his presidency is 21 percentage points below the historical average rating for elected presidents in mid-February (61%). It is also 11 points below the lowest mid-February reading for any other president.”
Is this the same poll that predicted a huge Hillary win back in November? All the left wing library’s are good at is whining like a little baby when they can’t get their way. I’d give you a box of Kleenex, but your tears aren’t worth the cost of one tissue. Bwahahaha
And which poll is out there saying Trumps approval ratings are not what is being reported??? NADA.
If he gets appointed, just make sure no pretty women gets close to him. He lips get loose when he’s with pretty ladies.
The kid just opened the Trump GC Hotel in SA. Since it was a business trip, does the government pay for the travel security? It’s not like pay for security of a young child. These are grown adults carrying on/managing Trump business deals. Are they entitled to protection? How far/deep does national security protection go for family members? Does it extend to in law family members too? How do you divide the cost between business and non-business cost?
It cost taxpayers $100,000 for Eric Trump’s business trip to Uruguay last month. Probably at least another hundred grand for this one.
I think for Trump, this rally was a “vacation” for him. he got to release a lot of stress. This was a therapy session. Rallies are the only thing he knows how to do. It returned him to his comfort zone.
Wow What a turnout. Many happy folks.
No one happier than the guy Trump brought on stage. Interviewed later, he admitted he has a cardboard cutout of Trump that he salutes every morning. Hmmm. Think the Secret Service just added him to the watch list.
Yes, all this group needed was the same, Jimmy Jones, “Happy Juice” drink and everything’s just fine and dandy. Smile and wave your arms to your glorious leader. Serve more juice, more, more, more.
C’mon Trump you’re the POTUS get to work already..Enough of the High School Pep rallies!!!
He’s already done more than “The Great Mistake” did for us in the last 8.
false news.
While President Trump has had a few things go south, our so called main stream media has engaged in a feeding frenzy trying to discredit him, his family, and his administration at every turn. For those that learned critical thinking skills, the main lesson learned is to not believe everything you read, see, and hear and to have a questioning attitude. The reality is that under the guise of objectively reporting the news, our main stream media is is east coast centric, left of center, and ripe with their own bias and agendas.
Trump repeated one of his biggest lies at his rally: “We’ve allowed thousands and thousands of people into our country. There was no way to vet those people. There was no documentation, there was no nothing.”
In fact, there is an exhaustive vetting process that takes 18 to 24 months.
This lie has been debunked over and over and over. But Trump keeps telling it because a) he’s a pathological liar, or b) he knows his supporters are too uninformed to know that he is lying, or c) he is a pathological liar and the Trumpkins are too dumb to know the truth.

Apparently confusing the Presidency with hosting a tv game show, Trump invited members of one of his golf clubs to sit in on interviews for his cabinet:
“We’re doing a lot of interviews tomorrow — generals, dictators, we have everything,” Trump told the crowd, according to an audio tape of his closed-press remarks obtained by POLITICO from a source in the room. “You may wanna come around. It’ll be fun. We’re really working tomorrow. We have meetings every 15, 20 minutes with different people that will form our government. We’re going to be interviewing everybody — Treasury, we’re going to be interviewing Secretary of State. We have everybody coming in — if you want to come around, it’s going to be unbelievable….so you might want to come along.”
Politico’s Glenn Thrush, who was exposed in WikiLeaks emails sending stories to Hillary Clinton staffers [for approval] before publication, joined the New York Times to cover the White House. In one email to Hillary Clinton’s campaign chairman John Podesta, Thrush chose to describe himself as a “hack.” He wrote to Podesta in an April 2015 email:
“No worries Because I have become a hack I will send u the whole section that pertains to u. Please don’t share or tell anyone I did this. Tell me if I [messed] up anything.”
The media sucks big time.
Trump criticizes the media because the media terrifies him–he knows it is the media that could bring an end to his presidency.
For the same reason that Putin dislikes and worries about the press in Russia, samo, samo.
Vote Hillary in 2020?
Actually, I liked Bernie but not sure he’ll be around in 2020.
Trump is already draining America’s coffers dry right before everybody’s eyes and he’s going to blame Social Security, etc., and that he’s being dealt a bad hand of cards from the get go.
