Hawaii Pacific University is expanding to West Oahu.
The university said it has partnered with Island Pacific Academy, a private college preparatory school in Kapolei, to offer two college-level courses at the Kapolei campus this spring.
The courses — introduction to psychology and introduction to business — will be taught by HPU professors and available to college students and Island Pacific Academy’s high school students.
HPU will offer the classes as part of Island Pacific Academy’s regular course offerings for the semester that runs from March 13 to May 7. Enrollment information is available at hpu.edu/admissions/apply_now.html.
HPU tuition is $775 per credit this academic year. The Kapolei classes would cost $2,325 each. Island Pacific Academy has negotiated a special rate for its students. Interested students should speak with an adviser.
For more information about this program, call the HPU admissions office at 866-CALL-HPU or 544-0238.
