Kalihi man, girl arrested on suspicion of robbing teens in Aiea
Police arrested two people after they allegedly robbed two teens in Aiea.
The robbery occurred at a commercial area on Moanalua Road at approximately 2:30 p.m. on Jan. 23. Police said a 21-year-old Kalihi man and a 15-year-old girl used physical force and robbed the victims — both 14-year-old boys — of their property.
The suspects fled and the victims reported the robbery to police.
The male suspect turned himself in at the Kalihi police substation Tuesday afternoon, where police arrested him on suspicion of second-degree robbery. Police said the 15-year-old girl was located a short time later and arrested.
Both were released pending further investigation.

So much crime here these days. The 21 yr old could have a 5 yr stay in sunny Arizona for his robbery 2nd as it’s a felony unless he can manage to sweet talk the judge which so many do and end up arrested for something again. Revolving door here. The minor will have a slap on the wrist.
scary areas
What do the parents of the two 14 year olds who were at “a commercial area on Moanalua Road” at 0230 on a Monday morning have to say? I’m guessing not much.
Unless they amended the article after your post, it happened 2:30 pm and 2:30 am.
Sorry, meant to say “Not” 2:30 am.
Not sure what parents are supposed to say if pau school and possibly on way home.
What should be said? Or, let me guess, “where are the parents-they need to be held accountable”.
Any kids out at 2:30 in the afternoon are just looking for trouble.
Good-Grief!
yikes!
You’re right. Sorry, missed the “pm”
Guess they couldn’t find victims in Kalihi to rob. Deport the adult male if he’s illegally here. One less EBT recipient.
