Police investigate attempted armed robbery in Kalihi
Police are looking for male suspects who allegedly attempted to rob a Kalihi retail store.
At about 4:50 p.m. Monday, police said the suspects entered the store when one of them attempted to hold the owner at gunpoint. Police declined to provide the name of the store because the investigation is ongoing.
The suspect struck the owner, 64, with the gun as the storekeeper defended himself in the attempted robbery, police said. There were no reports of any serious injuries.
