Kauai police found a 67-year-old man and a 40-year-old woman dead in an apparent murder-suicide in Hanamaulu early today.

Police responding to a call at 3:47 a.m. entered an apartment at Kalepa Village and discovered the two bodies, according to county news release.

No identities will be released until next of kin have been notified. Autopsies will be performed. In a preliminary report, the deaths were classified as an apparent murder-suicide.
