Here’s a better version of the story……………
Honolulu police have opened an attempted murder case after two vehicle crashes in Kaneohe Wednesday.
Just after 11 a.m., police got a report of reckless driving near Kualoa Regional Park. An SUV was reportedly driven by a woman. Officers were unable to locate the vehicle at that time.
About 30 minutes later, the same SUV was involved in two crashes near the intersection of Likelike Highway and Kahekili Highway. Police say a man got out of one of the damaged vehicles and was threatened by the female driver to get into the SUV. The man got into the SUV and was later found at Castle Medical Center where he was seeking treatment for non-life threatening injuries.
Investigators say the SUV was recovered in Waianae. Police are still looking for the female driver, who faces possible charges for auto theft and leaving the scene of a crash.
SA should hire you, maybe we would get some good reporting.
Drove past there earlier this evening. Quite a few police cars for a “road rage” incident. There’s gotta be more to the story.
Hawaii News Now site mentions how police are investigating a possible shooting in front of the Kalihi post office. I’m assuming this is the USPS post office located near the King Street/Houghtailing intersection. Whether or not this “possible shooting” was connected to this road rage incident, neither source seems to confirm.
