7,000 gallons of sewage spill into ocean near Hickam Beach
State health officials are warning people to stay out of waters fronting Hickam Beach until further notice.
A sewage spill near Porter Avenue and 17th Street at Joint Base Pearl Harbor caused 7,000 gallons sewage to enter a storm drain leading to a canal discharging east of Hickam Beach, officials said Thursday afternoon.
Officials have posted warning signs.
