Car theft suspects flee when vehicle won’t start

Four car theft suspects were foiled when they couldn’t start the vehicle they attempted to steal, Honolulu police said.

The suspects approached a 22-year-old man just after 2 a.m. Friday morning with a weapon and demanded his vehicle.

The suspects tried several times to start the vehicle, but were unable to do so and fled the scene.

Police did not release a location for the incident and did not release descriptions of the suspects.

    Maybe it was a vintage car and the thieves were too young to know how to set a manual choke? Ah, the pleasures of instant gratificatiom.

    Must’ve been a funny sight. 4 perps jump in the car and try to start it. Cannot…All 4 jump back out. LOL…
