Police investigating robberies in Kapolei, Honolulu
Honolulu police are investigating two separate robbery attempts, one of which resulted in injuries to a victim.
A 30-year-old homeless man was being held on suspicion of second-degree robbery after he allegedly used force to take property from a 30-year-old man in Kapolei Saturday afternoon.
The arrest happened near the Kapolei Walmart at 4:45 p.m.
In another incident, police said a 19-year-old woman was injured Friday morning during a robbery attempt at what police described as a “Honolulu commercial business area.”
The woman said the suspect approached her, revealed a weapon and demanded her property at about 9:40 a.m.
Police did not give details on the woman’s injuries or the kind of weapon used.

Officers turned the case over to robbery detectives Saturday.

HPD has got to shake down the vagrants. To protect, to serve. Laugh at that.
They should be investigating the huge robbery taking place in both areas.

What kind of B$ statement is that from HPD? Can’t they give the intersection or street address it occurred at? Is there something to hide?
